When you choose The K9 Experience, you’re not just choosing where your dog spends the day, you’re joining a journey that’s being built thoughtfully, responsibly, and with a long-term vision.

Our space is developing in three intentional phases over 24 months, allowing us to grow in a way that protects safety, calm, and quality—while expanding our impact for dogs, owners, and the broader community.

Phase I: Getting it right

Estimated: April 2026 – March 2027

Phase I is about building the right foundation, not growing too fast.

This phase uses approximately 1.5 acres of fenced space and focuses on delivering the experience we believe in while building the relationships that allow for smart, sustainable growth.

Phase I priorities include:

  • Establishing friendly daycare and smart training the right way
  • Operating with consistency, calm, and intentional structure
  • Building trust with dogs, owners, and partners
  • Developing strong relationships within the community
  • Becoming a preferred overflow option for burdened rescues when shelters are at capacity
  • Learning, refining, and improving before expanding

Phase I is where we focus on doing fewer things exceptionally well, ensuring every dog receives thoughtful care and every relationship is built on trust.

Phase II: Boarding & Expanded Core Capabilities

Estimated: March – December 2027

Phase II strengthens our core offerings and expands our ability to serve more dogs without sacrificing quality.

This phase introduces:

  • A new, dedicated luxury boarding building, located behind the current facility
  • Overnight accommodations for up to 40 dogs, designed for comfort, calm, and security
  • Expansion of fenced outdoor play areas to approximately 3 acres
  • Increased water access points and shaded areas across all outdoor spaces
  • Continued growth in community involvement, including deeper support for rescue overflow needs

Phase II allows us to elevate the boarding experience while expanding outdoor environments in a way that supports safety, regulation, and well-being.

Phase III: Daycare, Training, and Community Access

Estimated: January – April 2028

Phase III brings our most expansive vision to life – focused on training, enrichment, and giving back to the community.

This phase includes:

  • A new daycare building at the front of the property, improving flow and accessibility
  • A significant expansion of training programs
  • A dedicated training yard on the west side of the property, designed for focused skill-building and confidence development
  • A dog pond with an integrated water feature, created for safe, enriching play and cooling
  • A small, separate public dog park near the front of the property, designed for weary travelers and community members who need a safe place for their dogs to run

The public dog park will be fully separate from daycare and boarding areas, ensuring our structured environments remain protected while still offering something valuable to the broader community.

Phase III is about growth with generosity – expanding impact through training, thoughtful design, and intentional community access.
